We believe every company, organisation, SME or sole trader has a responsibility to have a charitable or social focus. We support The Bansang Hospital Appeal, an incredible charity that helps to save and transform lives of the people in and around The Gambian town of Bansang. The charity helps to provide life saving equipment, medication, technology and building renovation to the Bansang Hospital and the community of 600,000 people that it serves. We support the charity both by volunteering within the hospital and by making donations. 5% of all of our profits are sent to the charity, so any investment you make with us helps others too. The Bansang Hospital Appeal is a small, but incredibly important and impactful charity, founded and managed by the truly inspirational Anita Smith MBE. Anita has been running the charity since 1992, and was awarded an MBE in 2008 in recognition of her work supporting the hospital. She has also been recognised in The Gambia, for the tremendous impact her charity has made at the hospital and the community that surrounds it.

Richard first met Anita in September 2014, after an introduction via her children, his friends Grant and Alexia. Six months after their introduction, Richard joined Anita in Bansang, The Gambia, supporting the charity hands on. Since then Richard has continued to be a visitor and proud supporter and ambassador for The Bansang Hospital Appeal.
